    Motoyama

It is 30 kilometers away from the port and covers an area of about 1,000 hectares. Except for 50 hectares planned for university use and temple construction, most of the rest is an ecological conservation area. This area will be planned for the use of the Kongoshan International Zen Forest, which can provide students with natural environmental ecological teaching. The original forest area is even more suitable for meditation and conditioning the body, mind and soul.

The university construction area is flat and vast, surrounded by mountains like lotus flowers, known as the Lotus Land, and is also a place for practice and leisure. A 10,000 square meter auditorium is under construction, and the gate is a Burmese jade Maitreya Buddha.
The main hall houses statues of the Three Treasures of Buddha (Amitabha, Medicine Buddha, and Sakyamuni Buddha), as well as Bodhisattvas representing compassion (Avalokitesvara), wisdom (Manjusri), vows (Ksitigarbha), and action (Samantabhadra). They are compassionate, dignified, and possess both compassion and wisdom, vowing to save all living beings from suffering and to bring them happiness.

The Prajna Buddha Stupa is a scaled-down version of the Prajna Buddha, a sacred Buddhist site on the island of Java in Indonesia. Its majestic appearance makes people nostalgic for the past, recalling Indonesia's once glorious Buddhist history and praying for the long-term existence of Buddhism in Southeast Asia.
The Jade Buddha Hall houses 3,000 small Burmese jade Buddha statues, which believers can make offerings to and receive incredible blessings.
In addition to the five daily classes, the permanent residents go on pilgrimages twice a day, practice the Universal Gate Sutra and chant the Avatamsaka Sutra every Saturday and Sunday, and lead believers in circumambulating the pagoda once a month. The school will offer English and Chinese language courses, as well as teach life skills, and integrate with the community to improve people’s quality of life.

We are now also working with professors from Kaohsiung Medical College to establish a traditional medicine research institute at Mount Kongo on Bintan Island in Indonesia, planning land to plant local and international medicinal herbs.

    Honganji Temple

Located in the city of Tanjungpinang, it covers an area of about 1,000 square meters. It has Chinese architectural style and is magnificent. There is a spacious hall on the first floor, where ceremonies, vegetarian meals and conversion ceremonies are held every year. There is a bell and drum tower and a 30-foot-high statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva on the second floor. The third floor is the wooden Main Hall.

Honganji was built by the efforts of the four groups of disciples, who hoped to use the geographical advantage to promote the merits of Buddhism and the Three Jewels and to play a role in converting local believers.
